Firefly has been appointed by Construction Industry Solutions (COINS) to handle the international PR surrounding the inaugural COINS Construction Industry Grand Challenge (CCIGC). Our aim is to deliver entries from the UK, USA and Australia.

This puts us in charge of an exciting opportunity to promote and encourage sustainability in the construction industry. The CCIGC has two challenges, one of which will uncover a bit but viable technology idea that will cut energy consumption at all stages in the lifecycle of built assets. In addition, the awards will reward leaders under the age of 35 who demonstrate the ability to bring a fresh approach to sustainability leadership in the construction sector.

Our team, led by Tom Reynolds, will report directly to Robert Brown CCIGC Chairman and Kimber England, Global Marketing Communications executive.

“We selected Firefly because they share our enthusiasm for technology and how it can be applied to improve the built environment. Furthermore through the COINS Foundation they share our passion for using the power of business to create a better and more sustainable future for the benefit of society.” commented Robert Brown, CCIGC Chairman. “The Firefly team has a wealth of technology PR experience, particularly in the enterprise space, so we’re looking forward to working with Tom and the team.”

We’re looking forward to getting stuck in and are very pleased to be working with Robert, Kimber and the rest of the COINS team.
