In February 2014 – a social experiment began that consisted of a crowd sourced attempt to play childhood classic Pokemon Red. It was nothing short of chaos with around 10,000 people participating at its peak and was completed on the 1st March 2014. Similar attempts have been made with later games but now a new concept has arisen. Twitch now features a live feed of a Betta fish called Grayson playing Pokemon Red. He’s not doing very well and after playing for over 600 hours has yet to reach the Viridian Forest. Novice.
