Firefly London has very recently been awarded the Pan-European PR briefs to promote two companies: Leaseweb and Evoswitch.
Server hosting company Leaseweb is one of the largest and fastest growing companies in its field in Europe, serving the global market. LeaseWeb handles internet traffic for clients like The Wikimedia Foundation, operators ofWikipedia, Heineken, and Hyves, the largest social media site in the Netherlands. Evoswitch is the cutting edge, next generation datacentre, based near Amsterdam that is 100% climate neutral – providing customers with advanced, state of the art, eco-friendly and secure IT housing alternatives.
Firefly’s immediate brief is to build brand awareness in the UK and manage the Netherlands execution through Dutch PR agency partner MarcommIT, before embarking on a Pan-EMEA campaign to build the brands’ profiles across Europe. Firefly’s remit covers traditional and online PR, corporate profiling, forum engagement and industry analyst relations.
Firefly Scotland is working with the Edinburgh Solicitors’ Property Centre (ESPC), the leading name in property marketing in East Central Scotland. The brief is a PR campaign to increase awareness of the fact that solicitor estate agents are the leaders in marketing properties at the premier end of the market.
Part of Firefly’s remit is a corporate profiling campaign for the ESPC’s CEO, Malcolm Cannon, to communicate his vision and strategic plans for the firm and to position him as a leading commentator on the Scottish property scene. Already the team has secured two major business profiles including a news story in Scotland on Sunday and a feature in Business7 and they are now arranging a high profile dinner debate, hosted by the ESPC, with an invited panel of the country’s top property players, which will be covered by a leading national newspaper.
Neil Harrison, marketing manager for ESPC said: “Firefly had worked on one of our other brands and we were confident that they could support us in getting across a very specific message to support the business in East Central Scotland. They presented a number of avenues for delivering to our objective and have worked these to get our key message across.”
Firefly Scotland has secured a PR brief from Scottish telematics start-up Vtec Solutions, an award-winning UK reseller of TomTom vehicle tracking systems.
TomTom Work combines plug and play fleet management technology with smart navigation and communication tools that provide organisations with the ability to pinpoint their vehicles to as close as three feet away, while supplying real time vehicle information including maintenance, speed, location and direction. It is the fasted growing telematics product in Europe and is unique in being able to take positional data every 10 seconds.
As part of the brief Firefly will run a corporate profiling campaign across Scottish business and UK trade media, as well as to establish, monitor and manage Vtec’s digital presence on Twitter.
Paul Cochrane, director for Vtec Solutions, said: “Having had a great start since we launched the business 18 months ago we are looking forward to seeing continued growth in the year ahead. PR is an important component in further establishing our name within the market and we’re delighted to bring Firefly on board to help boost our profile across trade media and digital platforms.”
